There will be many favorite lines you will repeat and friends will know they came from Lonesome Dove. You will want a copy on your shelf to watch again and again. It wasn't until 5 years later that I discovered what a work of art this movie really was/is. Since then I have watched it once every year. I will never get bored with this genius epic. You will remember it for the rest of your life. I believe it is a pretty accurate picture of life in these times. Great scenery.
